Terrific Tuesday

Under the Willow and Janeology . . . .

Hosted at Bibliophile by the Sea
Every Tuesday, she'll be posting the opening paragraph (maybe two) of her current read. Why don't you join us?

Shane was just eighteen and a senior in high school when it happened, and it happened so slowly and with so much pleasure that he wouldn’t have stopped it even if he could have, even if he’d known what would come later.

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme,
hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading.

Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
1. Grab your current read Open to a random page
2. Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page ~BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS!~ make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!
3. Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

....Of course, there was Jane's jail room confession. I was done being a mother. Jane didn't tell this to anyone else, and I kept it to myself, convinced it was the right thing to do for Sarah. Later, I would wonder if it might have helped me to mention it.

Fabulous teaser! Lets the reader know there is worse to come for this character. Mine is from a gothic romance by Australian Kate Moreton:
