I've been gone a while. I started reading fanfiction to escape and I got sucked in an abyss.

I have no idea if someone else is hosting similar challenges. I just grabbed some of what I have hosted before.

Here's to a happy year of great reading
Jan2023: Not much has changed. Writing a fanfiction now O_o as well as reading but I bought 7 new books in December and hope to get those read soon. Crossing fingers about adding challenges (late!)

Happy Monday

Weekly report of last week's activities, reading and new books in the house....

Last week:

Helped finish 100 beaded bracelets. Stringing, nothing complicated but way too time consuming. Failed my RaT.

No gym with daughter, this time it was her back.

No volleyball because of the holidays.

Getting stuff ready for donating.

Guest room progress. . . stalled. I still need to work in the guest room, told M it would be usable by Christmas but I'm having some doubts. Next step is washing and painting walls so I can get bookcases and put the bed up. The new sewing machine is waiting for it's new home.

Party at church for some of us old folks. M told Son we'd be home by 8:30...no, but we stayed to help clean up so and were home by 9 p.m. The gift exchange was fun but took almost an hour with 39 people and 3 "steals".

Whew!

I'm looking forward to visiting again with everyone and hope you have a great week planned

Mailbox Monday is a place to share all the wonderful books that have come to live in your home; print, electronic and audio. Started by Marcia of The Printed Page, the mailbox is currently on tour. Check it out so you know where to go next month.
